In an attempt to actually use this site more, I'm going to introduce myself. Sort of.
I'm currently working on a PhD in Theater and Performance Studies. In my life (rounding out the Jesus year at the moment) I've had three goals.* 1. Get a PhD, 2. Get a full size bed, 3. Get a dog. Two of those goals are getting closer to being achieved, and sadly it's not the dog. One of my fave movies since the age of 3 is Predator, which I referred to as Crabface.
My fannish interests include but are not limited to:

Master and Commander
Jane Austen
Lord of the Rings (book and movies)
- Specifically the glorious love between Legolas and Gimli
The Good Place
Brooklyn 99
Elementary

Good Mythical Morning

Terry Pratchett
PACIFIC RIM!!!!!
And Holy Shit so much more!
It seems like that's enough to get started on at the moment. If anyone wants to say Hi! they are more than welcome!
*I mean I also wanted to be Maverick from Top Gun and a mermaid, but at least these are achievable. Tho I haven't given up all hope on being a mermaid....Or Maverick if we're being totally honest.
